In 1972, Chuck Wagner planted his first vines in Rutherford. What followed was five decades of relentless focus on one thing: making the finest Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon possible. The '50th Anniversary' release is a celebration of that legacy — richer, more layered, and more intentional than the standard Caymus, and a fitting tribute to one of California's most iconic wine families.

Tasting Notes
Rich and round on the palate from the first sip, with tannins expressed in a textural, almost velvety manner — never bitter, always generous. French oak is present but beautifully restrained, adding structure without dominating the fruit. Acidity is perfectly calibrated, providing freshness and balance without sharpness.
