Tuscany's two great reds in one approachable bottle — Sangiovese freshness meets Cabernet structure.
Col di Sasso — "Hill of Stone" — takes its name from the rocky Tuscan terrain where Banfi's estate vines grow. This is the estate's most accessible red: a blend of Sangiovese, the traditional soul of Tuscany, with Cabernet Sauvignon, the international variety that adds structure and depth. The result is a wine of genuine character that punches well above its price point.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red in the glass with a complex nose of ripe cherries, blackcurrant, and a subtle peppery note that adds intrigue. On the palate, medium-bodied with soft, approachable tannins and a clean, balanced acidity that makes this wine effortlessly food-friendly.
The Finish
Fairly long and persistent, with a clean close that invites another glass.
