Poggio alle Mura — "Hill of Walls" — is Banfi's single-vineyard Brunello, crafted from estate vines identified as the most suitable for Sangiovese through rigorous zonation studies dating back to 1980. The 2019 vintage is one of Tuscany's finest in recent memory — vibrant, fresh, and deeply expressive, with the structure to age beautifully for decades.

Tasting Notes
Brilliant ruby red in colour, with a complex olfactory structure from which notes of currant and black cherry stand out, combined with hints of rhubarb and roasting. On the palate it's soft and velvety, with the classic Brunello acidity providing lift and longevity.

The Finish
Spicy and elegant, with notes of white pepper and juniper carrying through to a long, velvety close that speaks to the quality of both the site and the vintage.
