Three grapes, one vision — Banfi's Super Tuscan at its most ambitious.

Summus — Latin for "the highest" — is Banfi's flagship Super Tuscan, a blend designed to marry the best qualities of three great varieties: the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, the boldness of Syrah, and the traditional acidity and cherry notes of Sangiovese. The 2018 vintage is an intense, deep expression of this philosophy — a wine that rewards both immediate enjoyment and patient cellaring.

The Blend

• Cabernet Sauvignon: 45%
• Sangiovese: 35%
• Syrah: 20%

Tasting Notes
Very intense in colour, with young fruity hints combined with complex notes of jam, spices, tobacco, and coffee. In the mouth, a strong structure with important and sweet tannins that carry the wine beautifully from entry to finish.

Persistent aromas and a long, satisfying finish that reflects the ambition and craft of this exceptional blend.
