Named for Sardinia's oldest city — a Cannonau of extraordinary depth and ancient character.

Noras takes its name from Nora, Sardinia's first city, founded on the island's southern seaboard around 1000 BC by the Phoenicians — and Norax, the mythical Sardinian hero who came from the sea. This is Cantina Santadi's premium Cannonau expression, crafted from old-vine Grenache grown in the sun-baked Sulcis territory, and it carries the weight and complexity of a wine with deep roots in this ancient land.

Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red tending towards garnet. The nose is complex and Mediterranean — ripe blackberry, blueberry, sweet spice, tobacco, and chocolate layered with an elegance that speaks to the age of the vines. On the palate, warm and velvety with unusually intense yet soft tannins that carry the wine beautifully.

The Finish
Long, warm, and deeply satisfying — a finish that lingers with dark fruit and spice, and rewards those who give it time.
