Mike Grgich became a legend the day his 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay beat the French at the 1976 Paris Tasting. He went on to found Grgich Hills in Napa Valley, where his philosophy has always been the same: let the vineyard speak, and get out of the way. The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful expression of that ethos — structured, pure, and deeply Californian.

Tasting Notes
Powerful on the nose, with a dense core of forest strawberries and sweet cranberries, warmed by vanilla bean and subtle nuances of sandalwood. Soft tannins create a round, inviting mouthfeel, with dense blackberry notes underscored by a hint of rosemary and cloves. The mid-palate is rich and dense, with balanced acidity that supports a satisfying, velvety aftertaste.
