Tasting Notes
Deep opaque purple in the glass, displaying aromas of wild sage, dark cherry, violet, and cassis. The tannins are firm and support an intense mid-palate of fruit. Acidity is dialed back to provide backbone and freshness without accentuating the tannins. The flavor profile moves from dried herb to ripe dark plum, then shifts toward cigar box and cedar — interesting, complex, and highly enjoyable.

Long and layered, with the earthy, mineral character of Rutherford carrying through to a satisfying, complex close.
