Thunevin Bad Boy 2016

The idea of calling this cuvée Bad Boy came from a nickname that Robert Parker gave to Jean–Luc Thunevin. The American critic regularly called Jean-Luc Thunevin "Bordeaux’s black sheep" or "Saint Emilion’s Bad Boy".

This comic styled label plays a huge part in the wine’s success. It was created by JLT’s friend from many years Eric Soulat.

Tasting Notes: This wine shows aromas of black plum, blueberry, claypot, chocolate, spice, and cedar. Blended mainly from Merlot and a jot of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2016 vintage delivers a full body, polished tannins and balanced acidity. The finish show beautiful fruit notes of tart red currant, tart cherry, anise, leather, incense, chocolate, and cedar.
