Return Policy
At The Wine Club we strive to provide our customers with the finest quality wines. We understand that occasionally issues may arise, and we want to ensure your satisfaction with our products. Therefore, we have developed the following replacement policy specifically regarding cork taint.
Cork Taint Replacement: If you purchase a bottle of wine from Wine Club Philippines and discover that it is affected by cork taint, we will gladly replace the bottle with a new one of the same or comparable value. Cork taint, also known as TCA (2,4,6-Trichloroanisole), is a chemical compound that can cause musty or moldy flavors and aromas in wine.
Eligibility: To be eligible for a cork taint replacement, please ensure that you meet the following conditions:
- The wine was purchased directly from The Wine Club.
- You have proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order number.
- The wine is within its designated shelf life and has not been consumed beyond a reasonable amount.
Process for Cork Taint Replacement:
If you believe you have encountered cork taint in a bottle of wine purchased from us, kindly follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team within 24 hours of discovering the issue.
- Provide our customer service team with the necessary information, including your name, contact information, proof of purchase, and details regarding the affected wine.
- Our team will review your request and may request additional information or evidence if necessary.
- If your claim is approved, we will arrange for a replacement bottle to be sent to you at no additional cost. Please note that exact replacements may depend on availability.
Exclusions: Our cork taint replacement policy does not cover issues unrelated to cork taint, such as wine preferences, incorrect storage, or accidental damage. It applies specifically to bottles affected by the presence of TCA that significantly impacts the wine’s quality and enjoyment.
Discretion: We reserve the right to exercise discretion in exceptional cases where the above conditions are not fully met but a fair resolution is still required.
