It’s probably when tasting Le Pin, a Pomerol wine produced from a very small vineyard, that the desire to make a great wine by himself started. Obsessed by wine, opinionated, and determined, he finally realized his dream in 1991, the first vintage of Château Valandraud. This was the start of a fantastic adventure leading to a quick success.
