Bad Boy 2016

1,800.00

The idea of calling this cuvée Bad Boy came from a nickname that Robert Parker gave to Jean-Luc Thunevin. The American critic regularly called Jean-Luc Thunevin Bordeaux’s black sheep or Saint-Emilion’s Bad Boy. This comic-styled label plays a huge part in the wine’s success. It was created by JLT’s friend from many years Eric Soulat.

Tasting Notes

This wine shows aromas of black plum, blueberry, clay pot, chocolate, spice and cedar. Blended mainly from Merlot and a jot of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2016 vintage delivers a full body, polished tannins and balanced acidity. The finish show beautiful fruit notes of tart red currant, tart cherry, anise, leather, incense, chocolate and cedar.
