Visiting Roussillon in 2000, Jean-Luc Thunevin discovers wonderful terroirs and is seduced by the region. At the same time, he meets Jean-Rooger Calvet, a local winemaker. They decided to buy a few hectares of vineyards together and they found the Domaine Thunevin-Calvet, located in Maury on beautiful terroirs of black schists. Their first vintage was produced in 2001. Cuvée “Constance” is dedicated to Jean-Roger’s daughter.

Tasting Notes

Rich and creamy with dark berries, wet stones, tiles, white pepper and chocolate on the nose. Meduim - to full bodied with chewy tannins loaded with dark fruit and chocolate in the plum, juicy finish.
